Poster Sketch

This sketch was my idea on how my poster was going to look like to advertise my target audiences. I've did some research on how indie genre posters looked like which gave me an idea to come up with my own design. My sketch was of my main character holding the map upside down which signifies he's quirky and he's even more lost because the fact that everywhere he goes he sees his ex girlfriend cheating on two different boys.

If the poster image had the map originally it will make the poster look more boring which is why I've decided to have the main indie artist holding the map upside down this also connotes his feelings in other words feeling socially excluded.

Stereophonic was a poster i've did some research on and it gave me some examples on what my poster would look like and where my character will be positioned etc.

Here are a few sketches that my group has made on what our Digipak album cover inside and back-cover would look like. The reason why we've decided to have images of the main artist holding the map upside down in the forrest it implies to my target audiences that he feels lost and insecure.

In the inside of our digipak it shows the 4 bands of this music track the reason why we've decided to include the 4 because the bands called 4 Kicks and we decided to use the band in the inside of our digipak album cover to give audiences a hint that the band is also featured but not featured in the music video.

Performing scene must be redone.( A few more performing scenes must be done)

Filming has been cancelled because of the rainy weather.

Friday

After school:

Bens house meet up at West dulwich 3:25pm

Opening scene located inside benjamin's house.

Begins with a point of view shot of boy1(ben) looking at a black and white photo frame of him and jenny.

Permission for Cafe Di Niro Letter

Dear Café Di Nero

I would also like to say thank you for giving us your time and permission to film in your café I really appreciated your help. Sorry to disturb you I would like to know when your available and less busy so we can re-film a two-minute scene. The reason why I would like to use this location its because of my media studies coursework which means that I’m making a short music video so I was wondering if you would give us a second chance to re-film when its less busy. This is because we’ve made a few mistakes on our music video because it was a very busy morning and I was really sorry for wasting your time. I would just like to know if its possible if we can re-film once more in the café area with your permission when the café is less busy?

Filming Scheduling: 18/10/10 - 21/10/10

Monday:

Filming must located at the cafe where Rosa and Tahir have an affair and the main character benjamin sees the two of them. Reaction shot of rosa, Performance of the character must be done.

Did Not Happen: Characters both failed to wear the costume they had to wear for the filming.
